How can you volunteer? Great question! The UMMHC is now a state chapter of Postpartum Support International, providing training and mentorship for those interested in being a phone or email support volunteer, run support groups, or offer brief trainings to our community on maternal mental health. We also need your voice at our monthly meetings as we develop new programs and make decisions about where to focus our efforts to offer services to women as well as impact policy development at the institutional level across our state.

If you are a mother/family with lived experience or an interested professional and would like to join PSI Utah, please contact our Maternal Mental Health Specialist, Brook Dorff at bdorff@utah.gov.

We meet on the 1st Friday of every other month in the Red Rocks Conference room on level A by the cafeteria at the U of U hospital. Entering the main entrance of the U of U hospital, go down the stairs to the right, turn right towards the cafeteria, and the conference room is on your left before the cafeteria. No rsvp is required, however please confirm there has not been a change of date/venue if you are not yet on our email list.
