Utah Support Groups

The following groups offer support at no charge for women who are at risk of or are experiencing distress such as isolation, depression, anxiety, fearful thoughts, insomnia, trauma, and other difficulties during pregnancy or postpartum. Support groups provide a safe and caring place for connection and recovery. Please call or email for more information.

Reach Counseling: Free Support Group

The Healing Group: The Man Cave – A Man’s Group for Perinatal Years

A monthly online meet up for men to improve their ability to support their partner and new baby through understanding postpartum depression and anxiety. The group will work to diversify your support methods, maximize your time and efficiency spent with your child, and provide a network of other men with similar goals. Topics include: child development, sex in the relationship, resources for dads, supporting mom (even when she is acting abnormal) and ways to maximize your effectiveness as a father.

  • When: This group will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8PM, with an additional quarterly meet up.
  • Where: Zoom online conferencing (Video call optional)
  • Cost: This is a free, online community group. The quarterly meet ups are free. However, some meet ups may have a cost associated with them for participation. (ex. Bowling game and shoes, Buffalo Wild Wings drink and meal etc.). Every member is welcome to come and be with the group without spending money

This group is for individuals who have experienced a pregnancy loss and offers a unique combination of education, skills, insight and guidance from a seasoned professional and support from peers.

The Healing Group: Online Postpartum Support Group

Did you know that at least 1 in 8 mothers face depression and anxiety symptoms during pregnancy and up to two years after having a baby? You are not alone! This is a free group for moms or moms-to-be who want to connect with other women for support. Babes in arms welcome!

Parents For Children

  • Padres Mentores – Las mamás y papás mentores ofrecen amistad, guía, aliento y apoyo. Ayudan a resolver los problemas y conflictos de una manera personalizada, proveyendo una forma de apoyo a los desafíos del diario vivir en la crianza de niños pequeños.
  • Grupos de Apoyo – Este grupo de apoyo provee una oportunidad única para los padres de compartir experiencias y sentimientos personales, estrategias de enfrentamiento y también información relevante sobre el ser padre y sus desafíos.
  • Educación para Padres – Este es un grupo de padres con hijos entre 0 a 5 años. Tocamos temas relacionados con el cuidado del recién nacido, la crianza y el desarrollo del niño.
